A product is a self-contained card program under your company account — it has its own cards, accounts, transactions, spending rules, pricing, and API access. Most companies only ever need one, and that's exactly what you get automatically when you sign up — nothing changes for you there.
Some companies want to keep different kinds of spending separate — for example:
An advertising / marketing product with higher spend limits, for teams that need to pay ad platforms freely.
A general payments product with lower limits and stricter rules on which countries or merchant categories are allowed, for day-to-day company spend.
Instead of juggling two completely separate accounts, multiple products let you manage both from one company account, while keeping their money, cards, and rules fully independent.
Separate per product:
Cards, accounts, balances, and transaction history
Spending policy — which merchant categories, merchants, and countries are allowed or blocked, and spend limits
Pricing plan
API keys and webhook subscriptions (if you use our API)
Shared across all your products:
Your company login and account UI — switching products doesn't change how the app looks or works, only which product's data you're seeing.
If your company has more than one product, you'll see a product switcher in the web app and mobile app (works like a language switcher). Selecting a different product updates everything on screen — accounts, cards, transactions, balances — to show that product's data only.
Additional products are set up by the Elibrium team on request. Reach out to your account manager or contact support to discuss adding a product for your company, including the spending limits and rules you'd like for it.
Does adding a product change my existing setup?
No — your first product and its existing cards, accounts, and settings keep working exactly as before.
Can I move money between my products?
Not currently — each product's balance is independent, with no transfers between products.
Can a product be removed later?
Not in the initial version of this feature — plan your products with that in mind.
